The Prayer Ministry at the Center for Spiritual Living Anacortes is a Prayer Request Service offered to those seeking spiritual support in any area of their life.
The Prayer Ministry is composed of licensed practitioners and practitioner interns. All have had at least four years training in the art and science of Spiritual Mind Treatment (affirmative prayer).

What is a Prayer Practitioner?
A Science of Mind Prayer Practitioner is a licensed spiritual support individual trained to perform affirmative prayer for others. A Practitioner is dedicated to using this gift to uplift, heal and support your spiritual journey. Like other professionals in the healing arts, Practitioners typically charge for one-on-one sessions, and no one is ever turned away due to lack of funds.
How to request a prayer treatment
Affirmative prayer is a service available to all, and all prayer requests are confidential and are kept within the Prayer Ministry.
Does a Prayer Request Cost Anything?
There is no fee, however, if you desire, a love offering may be sent to the Center for Spiritual Living Anacortes.
How to Make a Request for Affirmative Prayer
There are three main ways you can make a request of the Prayer Ministry for Affirmative Prayer.
- Attend a Sunday Celebration Service and write a brief request on the back of a yellow card. They are in the pockets on the backs of the chairs. Put your card in the offering basket, or hand it to someone after the service.
- Call the Prayer Ministry at the Center at 360-293-4029.
