Classes, Workshops and Book Study Group
There are many accredited classes offered by the Centers for Spiritual Living, which provides all the related materials for group study.CSL Anacortes offers classes, workshops, and book study as requested by our members and visitors to further our study of the Science of Mind.
Here is an overview of the educational and spiritual growth opportunities offered at CSL Anacortes:
Classes
We offer accredited classes from the Centers for Spiritual Living to deepen the study of the Science of Mind. These are scheduled based on interest from our members and visitors. Recent offerings include Foundations, Treatment, and Meditation.
Workshops
We host workshops that align with our purpose and support personal growth, healing, intuition, and mindfulness. Past topics include “Ways to Meditate” and “How to Create a Vision Board,” alongside guest presentations on chakras and environmental awareness.
Book Study
Our Book Study group is currently reading Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Dr. Joe Dispenza. Other recent selections include:
– Dare to Lead by Brené Brown
– The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown
– When Things Fall Apart by Pema Chödrön
– The Gift of Years by Joan Chittister
– What’s in the Way Is the Way by Mary O’Malley

Events, Potlucks and Concerts!
CSL Anacortes members, attendees and our families and friends, like to have fun, and we have several informal gatherings throughout the year, including:
- Barbecues, Music and S’Mores at the Beach of Washington Park.
- Harvest Dinner.
- Dressing up for Halloween, Christmas, St Patrick’s Day, Valentine’s Day and whenever
- Potlucks and Sing-a-Longs at peoples’ homes or parks (and Ukuleles are usually included/WINK).
- Hosting Fundraising Concerts with Daniel Nahmod, David Roth, SuZ Ogden and Andre Feriante.
- Walking in the Pride Parade and supporting other community groups like ‘Let’s Go Together’.
